Welcome to the Backpack Site!

Every so often it happens that a number of similar events coincide that force you to do a lot of one particular activity that you normally never do. Recently one such set of events happened to our family.

Many months before the episode I had decided to travel to New York to see my sister. A short while later my younger daughters' school confirmed the date for her Geography school trip. And then at the last minute my university student son decided to backpack through Europe.

This then was the event!  

All of a sudden I had to buy luggage. Suitcases and backpacks. The requests came through thick and fast. The requirements were detailed and to my mind unusual. I had never heard of Jansport Backpacks and I certainly wasn’t aware that there was such a device as an internal frame backpack!

The difficulty I had in finding information about all these critical needs made me resolve to write a blog style website that provides all this information in one spot or site as it were. I am having a lot of fun and if you like what you see and then buy from the stores I recommend I might even make a little pocket money for my effortsJ
